Marion Avanzini is a queer-feminist visual artist and cardiologist. She works mainly as a painter, exploring the complexity of communication in her work. One point of reference is literary texts, which she uses as visual material to expand the boundaries of the verbal. The conventional separation of foreground and background and the dichotomy of proximity and alienation are dissolved. Experimenting with different materials and techniques creates depth and ambiguity and brings the invisible to the surface. Since 2003 she has taken part in numerous exhibitions and has collaborated with other artists such as Ines Doujak for How do we want to be governed,<\/em> Secession, Vienna, 2005.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
